The DD design standards you expect from the VO Series are all represented in the VO-M400 midrange drivers, such as long fiber cones with synthetic resins in curvilinear profiles, frequency transparent dust caps, and precision machined motor assemblies. 
Matching the exceptional performance features in the 400s are the style enhancing textured cast frames with laser bared edging and DDA embossed rubber magnet boots.
The standout feature of the VO-M400 is the 2” voice coil. Immersed in a tight, precision machined magnet gap, this copper clad aluminum wire, vented Kapton former voice coil is made for exceptional power handling. 
The combination of this low moving mass and high motor strength renders crystal clear reproduction at ridiculous volume levels.
